Tennis Rules
- When playing tennis (indoors as well as outdoors), or exercising, everyone, including guests, must sign-in with the Pro Shop. Club members who bring guests are responsible for seeing that their guests abide by all regulations.
- Proper Tennis attire must be worn at all times.
- No swimming attire or jams.
- No sleeveless shirts (men).
- Proper tennis shoes (no basketball, track, runing, cross trainers,or soccer shoes, etc.)
- No wet bathing suits allowed in the Sports Complex. Cover ups required.
- Reservations for indoor or outdoor courts may be made in advance. Juniors under the age of 12 are not allowed to reserve courts. Parents may reserve it for them.
- Cancellation of a court reservation must be made at least 24 hours in advance, or the court will be charged.
- Banking of unused contract court time is allowed (with a 24-hour notice). Banked court time must be used within 30 days.
- Court Fees. There is no charge for outdoor courts; the charge for the indoor courts is $5.00 per person per hour.
- The charge for 12months, October - September
$700.00 for 1.5 hours $850.00 for 2 hours - The charge for 6 months, November-April
$575.00 for 1.5 hours $725.00 for 2 hours
- Guest Fees
- In-town guest fees will be $10.00 per session. Tennis privileges limited to 5 times per year per guest.
- Out-of-town (over 35 miles) guest fees will be $5.00 per session or a maximum fee of $20.00 per week per guest.
- Guest fees are in addition to court fees.
- The courts will be closed for maintenance at 12 Noon until 1:30 PM in the summer, and at any other time when, in the opinion of the Pro, they need work.
- The outdoor tennis courts will be open for the season in April, weather permitting.
- Any special rules concerning the use of the courts in the Sports Complex will be posted at the appropriate time.
- Smoking is not permitted in the Sports Complex or on the courts.
- No food is permitted on the tennis courts.
- Children under 12 years of age who are not participating in a clinic or lesson must be attended by a parent.
- No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the exercise room unless accompanied by an adult.
- Good sportsmanship should be practiced at all times. (No swearing, hitting the court with the racquet, or throwing the racquet.
