We offer a year-round program, with three indoor hard courts and six outdoor clay courts; three are lighted. In an attempt to keep our members playing outdoors as long as possible, we schedule opening of the clay courts by April 1 and end the season on November 30 depending on the weather.

Along with our three indoor courts, our facility contains a workout center complete with Nautilus machines, free weights, life cycle and treadmill and spinning classes. There are locker rooms with two showers and a lounge with television. We also offer the use of a ball machine as well as a hitting wall. Our complex houses a tennis pro shop, offering a complete line of tennis apparel, shoes, racquets, and racquet stringing.

Mike Weidl is the tennis director and head professional. He brings many years of playing and teaching experience. Mike's extensive playing background includes playing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1988 until 1993. He played club tennis in Germany from 1990 until 1993. Mike won the USTA Men's National Amateur Indoor Championship in Singles and Doubles in 1993. He has been ranked as high as #3 in the Southern Men's Open, and a former #1 ranked 25 and over player in North Carolina. Mike's many years of teaching include Assistant Director for The Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Buhl, Germany; Junior Development Coordinator at the Greensboro Country Club; Director of Tennis at the Goldsboro Country Club and Assistant Coach of the Men's and Women's teams at University of North Carolina Greensboro. Cordie Burnette is the associate tennis pro. Cordie is USPTA certified and has developed some of the top juniors in the area. Cordie is an excellent instructor for both adults and children, introducing newcomers to the game with great enthusiasm.

Chatmoss offers a variety of clinics and private lessons to meet all levels of playing ability, including ladies, juniors, and co-ed clinics. Our pros are committed to developing and maintaining a strong overall program. The ladies' teams, clinics and junior programs have become very popular. Our strong junior program supports 90 to 120 aspiring young stars each week. Several junior and adult sanctioned tournaments are held throughout the year for the more serious players. Special events keep our pros busy, our members active and include a variety of socials for all levels of play.
