Maintaining the Momentum in 2010. We are off to a great start in 2010, and we need to keep up the momentum. As stated in the February 2010 Newsletter, the Membership Committee and staff have developed three new membership programs to help keep the club's membership momentum moving forward.

These programs are set up to target three different markets of new membes and give a sponsor credit to our current members for those who helped recruit the new member. Our Winter-Spring 2010 membership promotion is in progress. We welcomed three new Full members and their families in our February Board of Governors' Meeting. We have included detailed information about all of the programs in the newsletter and online. Please feel free to call the business office if we can assistance in anyway.

Through the natural course of attrition, there will always be a need to attract new members to Chatmoss Country Club regardless of the economic climate. Our goal for this year is to grow our membership levels and maintain them to over 500 families. I ask the membership to help keep the 2010 momentum going forward by introducing new friends, coworkers, parents of your children's classmates, and neighbors to the wonderful amenities, history, and surroundings that Chatmoss has to offer. Feel free to contact me personally if you know someone who is interested in learning more about the club.

A special thanks to the snow removal crew. Of the trials we face, coping with snow and power outages present the greatest challenge. For starters, snow makes it very difficult for our staff to get to work. The majority of our team live on the outskirts of Henry County or in areas distant from the club. All of the snow removal from the sidewalks, drives, and stairs is handled by Chatmoss employees (with a little help from Jay Frith, the last time). I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Chatmoss Country Club's Snow Heroes - those employees who braved the conditions and arrived on time for their scheduled shifts and worked tirelessly to insure that roads and sidewalks were clear so members could safely enjoy their Club. A special thanks to Bruce Arrington, Jody Reece, and members of the Maintenance staff, for their hard work and dedication in helping clear the paths for our members to access the club.

We truly appreciate all your member support.  Hope to see you at the club soon.
