Property Rules
- No structure of any type can be erected or built on Chatmoss Country Club property.
- No Structure of a temporary character, trailer, basement, tent, shack, garage, barn, or other outbuildings shall be used on any lot at any time as a residence, either temporarily or permanently. Boats and camping trailers shall be in areas not visible from the fairways.
- No exposed concrete, cinder or concrete masonry block, or cinder concrete brick retaining walls shall be constructed when such walls are visible from the fairways adjoining the property lines.
- No fences of any type shall be constructed along property lines adjacent to golf course fairways. No wire fences shall be constructed along any other property line when such fence is visible from the fairway.
- No trees, three-inch caliper or larger, measured twenty four inches from the ground shall be removed from the property without the approval of the Chatmoss Country Club, and then only in accordance with the rules and regulations of such club as set forth in the by-laws.
- No lot owners shall have any right to use the lakes, golf courses or other facilities of the Chatmoss Country Club, unless such owner is a member of the Chatmoss Country Club, and then only in accordance with the rules and regulations of such club as set forth in the by-laws.
- All owners and occupants of any lots shall extend to any and all golfers lawfully using the Chatmoss Country Club Golf Course the courtesy of allowing such golfers to retrieve any and all errant golf balls which have taken refuge on any lot in the subdivision, provided such golf balls may be recovered with damaging any flowers, shrubbery or the property in general of the owner of any such lot.
- New homes built adjacent to the golf course or club property must have sufficient drainage that will not cause potential erosion.
- No plantings of ground cover or shrubbery, evergreens, dogwoods, or other natural plantings can be removed from club property.
- The Board of Governors of Chatmoss Country Club will enforce all these restrictions to enhance and maintain a buffer in an undisturbed manner and to continue to keep the course secluded, not to be lined with homes on each fairway.
- Adjacent property owners to any club property that have a question of areas of club property that maintenance is not up to expectations, please contact the General Manager. The Golf Course Superintendent will be notified of your request, and this will be handled under his supervision.
